What area’s of the Sunshine Coast do you service?

How long do I have to wait before the job will be done?

The best part about mobile phones is that you can talk to Craig directly at any time during the day. In most circumstances you will speak with him directly, but occasionally he might be on the phone or out of phone range and you will be required to leave a message. He will phone you back as soon as he gets your message.

If the job is an emergency Craig will try and get there the same day. If however it is a planned job, he generally can do the job within 5 working days of the enquiry.

Will you be on time to the appointment?

Craig has built his reputation on being prompt and on time. He knows that everyone’s time is very valuable these days and time is money.

Craig will discuss with you the most suitable time to meet, and he will meet you at that agreed time promptly. We do not overbook our days to enable us to provide this quality service.

How much do you charge?

Being a small family based business we have very low overheads. Sure we still have to pay all the licenses and insurances, but we do not have to lease a building or pay for office staff. We like to keep it simple and charge a very competitive rate. We don’t have a service or call out fee.

Who will be doing the job?

Craig will be doing the job from start to finish. He is the same person that you talked to on the phone, maybe met on site or got the quote from. Craig’s word is his word, so if we agree to something, it will be done. You will be getting Craig’s 20 years of experience and his dedication to ensure the job is done right every time.

Can the customer supply the fixtures for the job and what brand of gear do you use?

Sure.
Craig is more than happy for you to supply your own fixtures. As long as the item meets the relevant Australian Standards, he is more than happy to install it. Beware of cheap Ebay purchases as they can have issues with quality, Australian Standards and warranty claims.

Am I better to get a quote or just pay the hourly rate for the job?

In my opinion it basically depends on the job.

For smaller jobs it is not economical for us to give a fixed quote, as the time to do the quoting often takes longer than just simply doing the job. However we are happy to give you a ball park figure over the phone.

On bigger jobs I like to give people a quote, as they will know what the budget will be for the given job.

A quote also gives the customer peace of mind that the job will cost an exact amount.

Sometimes the cost of a fixed price quoted job may be a little more expensive to account for any unexpected obstacles that may arise as part of the job.

Should I be wary of a cheap quote?

Things to ask

What brand of gear are they using?

Are apprentices working on the job and what experience does the tradesman have?

Some tradies simply rush the job, and do the quickest, easiest and roughest job and then hit the road.

Other tradies will give a cheap price, then while doing the job they will say it is harder than expected and charge an additional amount, or charge an exorbitant amount for any extra’s.

Will the tradies clean up after themselves or remove all the rubbish and packaging from the  site.
